IMPORTANT: Programme Guidelines (Grading, Participation Policy etc)
Trainees are expected to complete the required hours (as assigned by the institution) for the successful completion of this programme.
- Trainees taking an online class will log-in as requested by the instructor. At a minimum, trainees will log into the online class twice a week. This is so as to check for updates and to complete assignments. Your instructor may impose additional log-in requirements.
- All trainees taking an online class will complete a course orientation before the start of the class(es) to ensure that they understand how to access course information
- Trainees who are taking an online class for the first time will complete an orientation before the start of the class to confirm they have the necessary computer skills, establish familiarity with essential MOODLE functions, and are aware of strategies for success for online trainees.
- Face-to-Face classes begin at X a.m. and end at X p.m. on selected days (or as stipulated by the institution) and all trainees MUST be punctual at all times.
- Online activities are expected to be completed on or before the required due dates. When online sessions are scheduled, trainees are expected to attend these classes online and participate in class activities as instructed. This constitutes an attendance for that session. If a trainee does not participate he or she will be marked absent!
- ALL assignments should be handed in on the specified due date. Failure to comply with specified date will result in X% reduction in marks for each day the assignment is outstanding. Group assignments are mandatory.
- All assignments will be graded according to the approved institutional and NCTVET guidelines
- Trainees’ involvement in discussions during each session is an important aspect of the course. All trainees should expect to fully participate in online class discussions and activities during all classes.
