Assignment - (Research Paper): Relevance of Analysing Competency Standards – (Group work 25 Marks)

Instructions:

In groups of three (3) conduct research and make a presentation to the new recruits within your department, the training unit, regarding the relevance of thoroughly analyzing occupational standards and using results to satisfy the training needs of your customer or client. Ensure that you address the following areas in your presentation:

  • Selecting appropriate training package
  • Interpreting the qualifications framework and plan
  • Analysing and interpret the units of competency within the clusters
  • Contextualising units and clusters for client application
  • Analysing and interpreting assessment information

 

Utilise an appropriate presentation software, such as PowerPoint, to compile your presentation. Include at least four (4) scholarly articles in your presentation and use APA style for your in-text and reference list citations. Your presentation should NOT exceed 25 minutes. Be guided by the rubric  below
